South Detective Division is asking for the public’s assistance to identify and locate the suspect wanted for an aggravated assault in Hawthorne.
On July 10, 2015, at 4:00 am, an unknown male entered a Sunoco gas station located at 801 South Broad Street and after several minutes inside the store and giving the employees a difficult time, the suspect made a purchase and left the store. A short time later the suspect went to a side window attempting to enter the store a second time. When the employees informed the suspect the store was closed, he pulled a black handgun and tapped on the window threatening the employees then fled in an unknown direction.
Suspect Description: Black male, 5’11″, 30 years-of-age, dark complected, shoulder length dreadlocks, clean shaven, wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts, and armed with a handgun.
